President's Message


Earlier in the year I reported on the results of our Spring survey of members and important insights into why our members join.  Networking, Connections and Connectivity, Knowledge, Resources, Educational Opportunities and webinars) and Mentorship were reported time and again as the most important and meaningful reasons to belong to this community.  We have taken this feedback and completed a three-year strategic plan focusing our efforts to better serve all our members.  A new look and feel is just one of many changes on the horizon.  Our work for the coming quarter and well into next year will focus on the following priorities:  Financial Health, Marketing/Communications, Membership and Volunteerism/Leadership.

In the short-term, we remain dedicated to the avenues in which you can engage with your council.  I encourage you to take a look at the website, refresh what you know about “our” council and take advantage of what makes us so great!
And finally, a note of thanks to our Sponsors - It takes a full community to ensure our success over time and without the generous financial support of our sponsors at General Meetings, the Regional Conference and the educational offerings held throughout the year, we would not be able to provide all the great programmatic content throughout the year.  A sincere thank you for all you do for LACGP!
